What is the process of designing the photo etched lapel pins?

Combining chemical science and photography one can easily make photo etched pins. Taking a color of your choice, the negative of a picture is transferred on to a metal plate by doing an acid reaction. Using special tools that are like a syringe, each color is added to the metal plate. Once the coloring is done, the pins are heated at about 450 degrees centigrade. At the end the pins are cut out from the sheet and given a polish for a neat look. An epoxy coating can also be applied on the pins if desired for free of cost.
